About Chase

   Chase is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. Before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from the Southern University Law Center in 2013, Chase earned a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University in 2009. While a law student, Chase drew from his extensive scientific background to become licensed Patent Attorney able to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In addition to being a member of the Louisiana State Bar, Chase is authorized to practice in the United States District Courts for the Western, Middle and Eastern Divisions of Louisiana, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.


   Chase practices in a wide range of areas of the law from making sure his personal injury clients receive ample reparation for their injuries, protecting his clients’ rights to their intellectual property by obtaining patents, trademarks and copyrights, insuring that those accused of a crime get their constitutional right to a fair trail, aiding clients through the difficult process of divorce and child custody, and obtaining just compensation for individuals injured during recreational, public safety, technical and commercial diving. 


   Outside the office, Chase has a passion for international travel and underwater exploration. Chase is an avid recreational and technical scuba diver, a certified Divemaster with the Professional Association of Dive Instructors, certified in closed circuit rebreather diving, mixed-gas diving, deep diving, cave exploration and wreck penetration.
